Rabbi’s Attempt to Mock Candace Owens Backfires
I usually like what you have to say but I have to call you out on your post about the man who mocked Candice Owens. He may have the title of Rabbi but that just means he has a certain degree of Jewish learning. It unfortunately does not make him what we call a “mentsch” – a civilized, good person.
If you feel that Jews do not criticize themselves you have missed many news feeds and websites that show just that. Know that Jews apply the term anti-semitism to themselves because the world has used that term, and there has been a constant hatred towards Jews for centuries upon centuries. The terms anti-muslim or anti-Arab are more defined and newer terms because the hatred wasn’t as wide spread until more recent times.
Also, please pay attention to the fact that Israel sent warnings to civilians time and time again to evacuate certain areas that they were going to bomb. This was something they did not have to do, but did so specifically out of concern for civilians. Hamas was the reason so many were in the line of fire. They have used hospitals and schools as shields for their militants. Unfortunately in war there are innocent casualties, but Israel tries its best to limit them. Meanwhile it has been half a year that Hamas has held young women, mothers, and even old grandfathers as hostages.
Also please be careful not to group all Jews together. Your tone started to sound a bit anti-semitic itself.
