The Federal Government, never mandated Covid-19 shots except for their employees, and military. Trump, if you remember had everyone up in arms because he said any mandates had to be decided by the individual states. Places like Michigan became draconian and basically ignored the Constitution, while others like Florida, went by the old measles myth and just made it a free for all, opening infection to everyone. Stupidity ran high on both sides.
